How to Evaluate Scooter Lifts

  • Will the lift work with your scooter? - Lifts come in a variety of widths and weight limitations. Looking into the specs of each lift will be an important factor before purchasing.   • Will the lift be easy to repair if damaged? - There are places to repair a damaged lift, but how difficult will this machine be to repair? Some repair shops will only do minimal or minor repairs, so be sure to locate a possible repair agency.

  • Are there any mandatory lift accessories you will need? - Important mobility scooter accessories that many people look into, is backup systems if the drive system on the lift somehow fails. This will be used in emergency situations, so that you do not get stuck at the top of your lift.
